GENERAL INFORMATION ON MUSEUMS:

Most of the museums and palaces in Turkey are closed on Mondays and on the first day of religious holidays, and open
during the week, between 8:00-12:00, 13:30-17:30 hours. Permission is required for photos and films in museums and at
ancient ruins; and the related fee is charged in accordance with the entrance fee. A special permit necessary for
photographing and filming for commercial use is obtained for the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums.

Entrance to the museums, archaeological ruins and sites are free of charge for.

Holders of Yellow Press Card:
Holders of the cards of the European Council, UNESCO, ICOM, ICOMOS, FIYTO, FIJET, TURSAB, AIESEC,
Committee for the Protection of Culture, and Press card issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Tourist guides certified by the Ministry of Tourism.

State guests:
Visitors invited to attend national holiday ceremonies and international festivals.

Student tickets are half the regular price.

For group visits, checks up to 5.000.000.-TL from any bank which has branch in Turkey can be accepted as
entrance fee.
